Information for Grantseekers
Because of the many organizations doing excellent work in the communities we serve, the pool of potential funding partners far exceeds our financial capacity.
The Foundation works hard to stay current in the fields we fund and prefers to collaborate with organizations to develop programs; therefore, we do not accept unsolicited proposals.
If you feel your 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or program strongly aligns with the Foundation’s funding strategies, please email a brief one-page description of your work to info@polingerfoundation.org.
Please note that we are in the process of phasing down work with a number of our existing grantee partners and no longer accepting inquiries for organizations and programs aligned with the following areas:
Fostering Jewish Identity for Jews in their 20s and 30s
Building & Strengthening Jewish Life in Emerging Communities
Engagement, Appreciation, & the Pursuit of Excellence in the Performing Arts
Promoting Behavioral Health Services
Promoting School Readiness
Creating a More Civil Society
Grants are also not available for:
Organizations and programs in or about Israel
Legacy Fund gifts
Capital campaigns
